fixed sized width

hi, is there a way to set a fixed size width for inputfield in rithctext edit control in powerbuiler 12?

what we want to do is

{applicant_type1}     {applicant_name1}

{applicant_type2}     {applicant_name2}

we want all applicant name display in the same positon

eg

creditor      person 1

tenant        person 2

not

creditor     person1

tenant     peseron2
