I have a datawindow (PB12.5) that has 6 picture controls on it. The idea of this system is it's a menu board for a restaurant where an appetiser appeal image shows on screen backgroundfor 10 seconds along with some menu items in the datawindow rows that show over the top. After 10 seconds the next picture shows while the text in the rows remains the same. I have it working where each picture control's visible flag is set to on and off accordingly after 10 seconds.
However we are finding this a bit harsh and want the pictures to do a fade out/in transition over half a second. How can I do that in this scenario?
I have got it work by using 6 different windows instead and using the OpenAnimation option on each window but this is not ideal as these screens are in a bank of 5 next to each other so that would mean 30 windows opening and closing over the 60 seconds time frame, and it tends to cause a bit of screen flutter, and the text also fades in/out with the transition which we don't want.
Can anyone help with the DW PictureControl fading idea?
